This Here is Important Business

Hey there, my name's Erik. I live in Austin, TX and I make music and put it on the internet for people to adore. I really enjoy the songwriting of Franklin Bruno, John Linell, Brett Gurewitz, Frank Portman and Cole Porter. I'm going to record 52 songs in 2006. Some will be other people's music, some will be old songs that I've written but never recorded, some will be songs that I never got around to finishing, and some will be brand spanking new songs. It's not going to be a song a week. I can't adhere to that kind of regimen. Then it becomes like a diet: you screw up one week and you just want to throw in the towel. So the songs will show up without a schedule. But by the year's end, I will be 52 songs fatter.
